HealthPlix India’s SaaS Platform Adopts Multi-Channel Strategy to Enable Physicians to Reach 10,000 Monthly Active Users
B2B healthcare tech startup achieves platform rigidity that increases physician productivity.
HealthPlix Technologies, India’s SaaS platform for physicians, today announced a new milestone of 10,000 monthly active users (MAUs), of which more than 70% are power users of the platform. The B2B SaaS startup credits its success to the pandemic-fueled multi-channel strategy and supporting physicians with proprietary digital tools.
In line with its new multi-channel strategy, the total number of new patients added and corresponding prescriptions written by doctors through the platform have doubled compared to last year. The rapid progress in 2021 comes at a time when doctors in India have shown a significant trend in digitizing healthcare practice and have turned to HealthPlix.
Pleased with this development, Sandeep Gudibanda, CEO of HealthPlix Technologies, said, “With the new multi-channel strategy, we are getting closer to the physician and engaging with them at multiple touchpoints. As a doctor first company, we have differentiated ourselves from other platforms by placing our physician users at the center of our growth strategy. We have served over 1.2% of the patient population in India and remain committed to digitizing healthcare for Bharat. Going forward, HealthPlix is well positioned to launch 3-4 new products for physicians by early 2022.”
The new strategy resulted in an increase in the number of experienced users, platform adherence, and physician productivity, resulting in an average 20% increase in patient footfall. Advanced users are physicians who have shown a very high engagement rate with the HealthPlix platform with daily usage per physician exceeding 3 hours. Since its inception, 1.6 crore unique patients have been treated through the HealthPlix platform by physicians practicing in more than 15 specialties.
HealthPlix’s AI-powered EMR is now more dispersed than ever, with its network reaching even the most remote areas like Bihpuria in Assam. As part of its continued investment in new product development, HealthPlix also plans to roll out 3-4 additional products by early 2022 aimed at facilitating physician practice and ensuring better health outcomes for their patients.
The company has received funding from investors such as Lightspeed Venture Partners, JSW Ventures, Kalaari Capital and Chiratae Ventures, to name a few. In their latest funding round, HealthPlix raised $13.5 million in a Series B funding, led by Lightspeed Ventures and joined by existing investors.
