Leeds v Chelsea Premier League kick off time, TV channel, news

If Chelsea fans were hoping this weekend’s Premier League TV program would serve up a more low-key affair than Sunday’s chaotic clash with Tottenham, they shouldn’t hold their breath as the Blues renew their rivalry with Leeds United at Elland Road.

The 2-2 draw against Spurs had everything you look for in a London derby and Thomas Tuchel’s side may feel aggrieved for not picking up a win as they were the better side and were let down by refereeing doubtful.

They remain unbeaten, but so do Leeds and neither will want to give up that record against historic rivals West Yorkshire.

Los Blancos beat Wolves on the opening weekend but blew a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Southampton on Saturday in a worrying second half.

There have been some memorable games between the two at Elland Road over the years and Jesse Marsch will want his team to take inspiration from what is likely to be a hostile atmosphere.

But the Blues looked back on their best last weekend and quieted down Leeds support with a comfortable 3-0 away win just three months ago.

Our prediction: Leeds v Chelsea

Although the lasting feeling after last weekend’s fiery derby with Tottenham was one of frustration given Harry Kane’s late equalizer, Chelsea can take many positives from their dominance at Stamford Bridge.

If they can find that gear, they should have no problem creating chances against the Whites and calming down the Elland Road faithful.

Injuries to N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic mean the Blues midfielder will be a bit lighter and could be a target for Leeds.

Our prediction: Leeds 0-2 Chelsea (2/15 at bet365)
