Leicester v Nottingham Forest Premier League Kick Off Time, TV Channel, News
There will be added pressure on Brendan Rodgers on Monday night as Leicester owner Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha will be at the King Power Stadium to watch the Foxes take on Nottingham Forest in the final game on the Premier League TV schedule this weekend.
The hosts are hoping to use the international break as a circuit breaker after a six-game losing streak, including a 6-2 loss to Tottenham, has left them bottom of the league with just one point won this season.
There were signs of life in the first half of that loss to Spurs, but it’s likely Rodgers will have to save his job – especially as the crowd will want a say on Saturday.
The arrival of rivals Nottingham Forest just 30 miles from the A46 offers the Foxes boss a chance to rally supporters, but he will remember all too well what happened when the two teams met at the City Ground seven months ago.
Steve Cooper’s side, a Championship side at the time, beat them 4-1 in the FA Cup fourth round on a jubilant day at Trentside.
The feeling is a little different among Reds fans after a test start to life in the Premier League, however, and a win for Leicester would see the visitors sink to the bottom of the table.
The East Midlands derby it is not but there is certainly a frosty relationship between these two local rivals, who have shared many heated clashes over the years.

Our prediction: Leicester v Nottingham Forest
Leicester and Nottingham Forest have two of the most slippery defenses in the league while they are also two of the top scorers in the bottom half of the table, so we should expect plenty of goals on Monday night.
The presence of the Foxes owner will put more pressure on Rodgers, but his side weren’t as bad as the suggested 6-2 scoreline against Spurs and it seems to be the kind of game in which Jamie Vardy, who is pushing for a starting place, could flourish.
Cooper surely can’t continue to ignore Lewis O’Brien’s performances, but even including the midfielder from the start may not be enough to help them avoid defeat.
Our prediction: Leicester 3-1 Nottingham Forest (3/1 at bet365)
