Man City v Brentford Premier League kick off time, TV channel, news

Manchester City can reclaim top spot with a win over Brentford in the first game of this weekend’s Premier League TV schedule – if only until Arsenal take on Wolves on Saturday night.

The Gunners have become Man City’s main title contenders in 2022/23 and will be desperate to qualify for the World Cup break with their two-point lead at the top of the Premier League intact.

Pep Guardiola’s side have a chance to put the pressure on them as they welcome the Bees to the Etihad early in the kick-off, and are looking for a fourth league win since losing to Liverpool in October.

They needed an element of fortune to continue this run against Fulham last weekend as Erling Haaland converted a controversial late penalty to give them a 2-1 victory against the West Londoners.

Thomas Frank will hope his side can also spook their hosts when they make the trip to the North West as they look to cap off a fantastic first part of the 2022/23 campaign.

Brentford managed to avoid sinking into a second season and sit 11th in the table heading into Saturday’s game. has gathered everything you need to know about how to watch Man City v Brentford on TV and online.

Our prediction: Man City v Brentford

Man City haven’t been entirely convincing in recent weeks, needing Kevin De Bruyne’s brilliant free-kick to edge past Leicester and then strike a late fortune against Fulham – but a trip to the Etihad remains one of the toughest challenges of the Premier League.

The Bees haven’t been shy about such tasks since joining the top flight and even with a long injury list, Frank’s team will try their luck on Saturday.

Ivan Toney will likely play with a point to prove after being left out of England’s World Cup squad by Gareth Southgate, but even that may not be enough to help Brentford avoid defeat.

Our prediction: Man City 3-1 Brentford (11/1 at bet365)
