Man Utd v Liverpool Premier League Kick Off Time, TV Channel, News

Manchester United have sunk to their lowest point in modern history, but the visit of rivals Liverpool on this weekend’s Premier League TV schedule offers them a chance to be even more embarrassed.

Erik ten Hag’s nightmare is starting to come to life as the Red Devils boss continued their 4-0 away loss to Brentford last weekend – with all four conceded before the break.

Much has been said about where the problems came from at Old Trafford following that dismal display, but the Dutchman and his team must be fully focused on Monday night’s game against Liverpool.

The only good news for Man Utd is that Jurgen Klopp’s side aren’t arriving in good spirits themselves. In fact, after draws against Fulham and Crystal Palace, a loss would see Liverpool fall below the Red Devils in the table.

They will be without summer signing Darwin Nunez after his direct red card against Palace, while Klopp compared the club’s recent injury problems to ‘like there’s a witch in the building’.

Liverpool have already dropped four points to title rivals Man City, but Reds fans will quickly forget that if they can pile more misery on the Old Trafford side.

Our prediction: Man Utd v Liverpool

The early season struggles of these two great rivals are second to none and Liverpool will rarely have arrived at Old Trafford as heavy favourites.

They have embarrassed Man Utd on several occasions over the past few years and unless Ten Hag’s side can improve their game significantly there could be another on the way.

It would be quite the game for things to finally happen for the Red Devils, but even with Klopp’s options limited due to injury and suspension, Red Devils fans are unlikely to hold out much hope.

Our prediction: Man Utd 0-2 Liverpool (9/1 at bet365)
