OutSystems, SAS Vet to Lead BeyondTrust’s Global Distribution Strategy

As senior vice president of global channels, Spee will focus on expanding market share through BeyondTrust’s global partner ecosystem.

BeyondTrust will continue to build on its momentum in the channel and examine how it engages and enables partners. This includes the use of intellectual property and the strategic and financial assistance to partners.

Spee brings over 25 years of experience leading successful distribution organizations.

“We have a solid foundation of sales channels and partners to build on,” he said. “We are extending our partner strategy and partner program from the traditional transactional channel to a much more diverse partner ecosystem. We invest in the program, the team and the tools to engage regional and global systems integrators (GSIs), MSPs, technology alliance partners and cloud service providers.

Previously, Spee served as Regional Vice President of U.S. Channels for OutSystems. He helped modernize its overall strategy and partner ecosystem. This included resellers, regional and global IS, MSPs and cloud providers.

Main priorities

Spee said he had three items at the top of his list.

“First, optimize our existing distribution/resale channels,” he said. “Second, launch our GSI and MSP partner programs. And third, align our internal teams to support this broader partner ecosystem and drive partner success. »

Regardless of its competitors, BeyondTrust’s plan is to provide partners with the most innovative and comprehensive platform for Privileged Access Management (PAM), and the “flexibility to work with us in multiple go-to-market moves.” the market,” Spee said.

“And we will invest in their success with additional sales, pre-sales and post-sales enablement and other resources,” he said.

Spee said his previous roles provided him with valuable experience in growing the traditional resale channel. He also gained experience building a global distribution strategy with a “modern partner program that attracted a comprehensive partner ecosystem.”
