Watford v Everton Premier League kick-off time, TV channel, news
Everton have given themselves a real shot at survival, but the Premier League’s relegation waterline could be as high as ever in 2022.
The Toffees travel to face doomed Watford this week as they catch up on rescheduled fixtures. They are 16th, a game less and a point ahead of Burnley and Leeds below.
The current bottom eight teams have recorded just three wins in each of their last two games combined. Two of those wins belong to Frank Lampard’s Everton.
Only three teams have been relegated in a 38-game season with 40 or more points. A win for Everton here would put them on 38 with Leeds and Burnley able to register a maximum of 42 for the season.
Watford are already dead and buried, 12 points off the pace required to survive with six straight defeats finally sinking the Hornets’ nest.

Our prediction: Watford v Everton
Roy Hodgson has failed to inspire any type of rhythm or rhyme to his Watford side and he has come under intense scrutiny from Watford fans after soaking up fan adulation from Crystal Palace, where he is a fan favourite, moments after landing the killer blow at Watford at the weekend.
The atmosphere could be sour at Vicarage Road. Hodgson seems to have lost the fans, and the players may not have enjoyed that now infamous moment at Selhurst Park.
Everton must exploit every chance to gain an early advantage on Wednesday. If they can score early, they could rack up a big score.
Our prediction: Watford 0-2 Everton (8/1 to bet365)
